Forklift Licence


Coastwide offers weekly accredited courses for TLILIC2001 – Licence to operate a Forklift truck (LF).
Course completion leads to issue of a Nationally recognised High Risk work licence issued by the Department of Workplace Health & Safety Queensland.

Candidates must :-

  1. Be 18 years or over
  2. Provide Photography ID
  3. Must be able to demonstrate adequate and numeracy skills to complete the written examination.
  4. A verbal examination option is allowed but must be discussed at time of booking.

Coastwide offers licencing course as follows: –

Course 1 – Three Day Course

This course is for new drivers with little or no previous experience.

Course 2 – Two Day Course

This course is for candidates with previous experience with documentation to confirm.  Examples of documentation includes a copy of expired licence, letter from previous / current employer or /and statutory declaration stating previous experience.

Course 3 – Log book Sign up

This course is for candidates who have access to a forklift.  Candidates complete theory/classwork at our premises in Maroochydore and then they log nominal hours under licenced supervision at the workplace.

Coastwide offers small classes and the use of two forklifts are available for practical training.

Licence application processing is completed following successful knowledge and practical assessment online via the WH&S website within 60 days.
